Terms of Service

Last updated 3 June 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and DeckBooster. They're written to be read — plain language, no traps. By uploading a deck or creating an account, you agree to them.

1. The service

DeckBooster analyzes pitch decks and returns a written report: an overall score, dimension-by-dimension feedback, and slide-level notes. The analysis is informational opinion generated with the help of AI. It is not investment, legal, financial, or fundraising advice, and it is no guarantee of any outcome — including whether you raise capital. You make your own decisions.

2. Accounts

You can use DeckBooster as a guest or create an account. If you create one, keep your sign-in access secure and give us accurate information. You're responsible for activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms.

4. Pricing & payment

Pricing is straightforward and has no subscription:

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars and may exclude taxes, which are added where applicable. We may change pricing going forward, but a change never affects a purchase you've already made.

5. Refunds

Your report is a digital product delivered immediately. Because the analysis is generated and made available to you right away, payments are generally non-refundable once the report has been produced. If something goes genuinely wrong on our side — for example a technical failure that prevents your report from being generated — contact [email protected] and we'll make it right. Nothing here removes any statutory rights you have as a consumer.

6. Your deck & intellectual property

You keep all rights to the deck you upload — it's yours. By uploading it, you grant us the limited permission needed to process it and generate your report. We treat your uploaded deck as confidential and do not publish or share it except with the processors needed to run the service (see our Privacy Policy).

DeckBooster — the platform, its design, scoring methodology, and software — belongs to us. Your report is generated for you; you're free to use it for your own fundraising and business purposes.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Scores and feedback are estimates and opinions, not statements of fact, and may not reflect how any particular investor will react. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DeckBooster and helo.land will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost funding, or lost data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Termination

You can stop using DeckBooster at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or to comply with the law. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as IP, disclaimers, and liability) continue after termination.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we make material changes we'll update the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts, except where mandatory local consumer law gives you other rights.
